Henri IV of Bourbon, called “The Great” (1553 a.C. -1610 a.C.). With the Edict of Nantes he put an end to many years of religious wars. He married Maria de Medici in 1600 in Lyon. Protestant, he converted to Catholicism in order to claim the throne. “Paris is well worth a mass.”
